Tim Gordon
Tim GordonTim Gordon is the Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of FAAAF and the founder of the FAAAF/Black Reel Awards. In addition, Gordon has served as President of the Washington Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) since it's inception in 2002. Gordon is also a former member of Variety Magazine prestigious Bureau of Film Critics (Washington, DC Chapter). In the early 1990's, he created and published the film newsletter, The Renaissance Review, covering African-Americans in the motion picture industry. Later, he hosted and produced the entertainment talk show, The Tim Gordon Entertainment Show for the Radio One Network.

Gordon has appeared nationally promoting African-Americans in film on several shows, including BET Tonight with Tavis Smiley, BET's Screen Scene and The Bottom Line hosted by Kwesi Mfume. He also is a contributing entertainment critic for WHUT-TV's Evening Exchange and publisher and editor-in-chief for, an online film magazine targeting African-Americans in film.

Since late 2007, Gordon has worked exclusively writing film reviews and other political commentary on his lifestyle blog, "FilmGordon."
